SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
NIHRC
The Northern Illinois Human Resource Council (NIHRC) is a local chapter of
the national organization of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Individual
members represent industrial and service employers in Lake and Northern Cook Counties. The
goal of NIHRC is to advance the knowledge, training and efficiency of its members in the field
of Human Resources.
The Northern Illinois Human Resources Council (NIHRC) is excited to announce we are accepting applications for the ($1,000) Eugene C. and Gertrude S. Ozag Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year. This scholarship was established in February 2003 by John Mudd to help defray the educational costs for students majoring in human resources or related field of study. So, take advantage of a great opportunity!
Review the NIHRC Scholarship flyer for eligibility criteria. If you meet the criteria, then access the application on the Community Foundation of North Louisiana website: cfnla.org, click on Community/Scholarship/The Eugene C. and Gertrude S. Ozag Scholarship. At the bottom of the paragraph, there is a link that says Scholarship Portal. Click on it to apply. Deadline is May 10, 2024.
